About Us

Fresno Urban Neighborhood Development Corporation (FUND Inc.) is a grass roots 501c3 non-profit Community Development Corporation (CDC), designed to meet the challenges of urban renewal and neighborhood revitalization! We build partnerships with low to moderate-income families to provide affordable new homes, restore older homes, and coordinate community beautification projects. Community Partners of many walks of life work hand in hand with neighborhood residents. Each provides resources of time, materials, and funding to complete each and every building project. From building a new home, to repairing an old one, the true goal is accomplished with Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

Our Mission

To continue to meet the challenges of neighborhood revitalization and community restoration in the inner-city neighborhoods of Fresno.

Our programs benefit low-income families by helping to beautify their neighborhoods, upgrade housing conditions, and foster cooperative "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" efforts.

As a grassroots, 501(c)(3) community benefit organization, we actively seek individuals, community groups, and local businesses to partner with us in our efforts to achieve a more cooperative and attractive community.

On each project, the applicant, their family members and neighbors all pitch in! This enhances the sustainability of our goals and purposes in these neighborhoods and is key to long-term, city wide change.

Our Vision

To introduce the "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" style of rehab to every neighborhood in Fresno. Get to know our neighbors, listen to their stories, embrace their culture, and come together to care for and help one another. To create communities within our community that will continue to grow long after the dust settles and the paint dries.
